Mt. Tremblant Restaurants

Just returned from a trip in The Laurentians. Spent a few days at the mountain. We were with our 15 and 13 year old sons so we were not looking to dine in fancy type places. We actually found everything at Mont Tremblant quite expensive even with the savings of the value of the dollar. We really liked the mexican restaurantat the mountain, in fact went twice. My husband and son loved the chicken wings. They have a very varied menu - anyone can find something. We also picked up a pizza and ceasar salad at a pizza joint at the mountain. In the village we had a terrible meal at a sub, itallian type restaurant called Pizzeria Mt Tremblant - stay away. Sorry I can't be of more help. There are lots of lovely looking restaurants as well as many in the hotels.

Bram,
Where we chose to eat it wasn't really expensive. The wings were sold by the pound - I think about 15.00 Canadian for 2 lbs. The pizza was about 14.00 for a cheese pizza. As I looked at some menus posted outside of some of the nicer restaurants I saw prices around 20.00-25.00 per meal. Many of the lunch prices were around 8-9.00$ Little things on the mountain like frozen lemonade stand was about 3.00.
Any other info I can help you with don't hesitate to ask. Bring lots of film. The mountain looks like a village I would picture in Switzerland.
Judy

Judy,

Thanks - but you're expensive and my expensive are very different. CAN$20-25 is about US$13-16. CAN$8-9 is around US$5.00. That's not expensive to me. We just had lunch yesterday and it came to $44.00 with no drinks and that was US$.

Thanks.

Just returned from two weeks in Mt. Tremblant. Great smoothie bar---Fluide---other restaurants in the resort have a basic fare of burgers/ceasar salads/pizza/wings--but if you are going with kids, it will be fine. Most entrees around $12-$18CAN. Also, try the Le Scandieve spa---$75CAN gets you a wonderful experience.
