Montreal terracotta warriors exhibit through June
My husband and I were in Montreal for the weekend. This is not a full trip report, just a strong recommendation to see the terracotta warriors at the Museum of Fine Arts if you are in MOntreal this spring. A really spectacular exhibit

You can buy tickets on line or at the museum. it is worth trying to get there sometime when crowds are not really heavy.

So thoughtful of you to share this information, We are going to Montreal this next week. Now I plan to go the the museum to catch this special exhibit.
I recently returned from Beijing, China and was able to see the remodeled National Musuem. The exhibits are awesome and the history we learn is very educational.
Thus, looking forward to learning more about China in Canada!!!
Thanks.

I hope you have a great trip to Montreal. If the weather cooperates and you have some warm, sunny days it is a wonderful time to enjoy the city. Everyone is outside after months of winter. And if the weather is not good, there are lots of things to do inside.

I have been promoting this exhibit to anyone I know who goes to Montreal at all regularly. I think it would be interesting even to people who have seen the warriors from the tomb of the First Emperor in China because there are many pieces from other tombs and other museums and a lot of good historic information.

My wife and I saw the exhibition 2 weks ago and were very impressed. With so much more to be unearthed, it is going to be an amazing time for archaeologists. Our day was further enhanced by a wonderful meal at a super restauant called Le P'tit Plateau. I can say that it was one of the finest meals I have had.(My wife is a gourmet cook and we have eaten in many places throughout the world). It is a BYOB place like many restaurants in Montreal and it has two sittings at 5.30pm and 8.30pm. Reservations are a must, and the cost is only $30+ for three courses. Treat yourself to a great bargain.
