Montreal B&B
Has anyone stayed at the Victorian Heritage Bed & Breakfast in Montreal? We booked a room for our upcoming trip. Any reviews?
Thanks everyone.

Dunno that particular place, but I do know the area. Very lively, fun area right in the heart of the St. Denis scene. Ontario St. is not exactly a high rent area, with lots of corner markets, laundramats, small bars, etc, but it's safe.

Thanks Zootsi. We leave in 1 week. I'm so excited. Zootsi, is it easy to get around without a car. I want to go to Old Montreal, underground city, Notre Dame, Stadium, Biodome. Is it easy for us to get to these places without driving? Thanks -- Raquel

Although Montreal is easier to drive than a lot of other cities, you definitely don't need a car. There is an excellent subway system (the metro), and it's a great walking city. From your hotel to the old city is about a 20 - 30 minute walk, or 5 minute Metro ride. The underground city and the downtown are about 15 minutes walking. You will need to take the Metro to the Biodome and Olympic Complex, as they are several miles from the center of the city.
Try and pick up one of the free, yellow covered Montreal guide booklets at your hotel or the info center downtown when you arrive - lots of good maps and detailed info.
