Thanks for the information. I am still deciding whether to come over and if I do it will be for more than a week. I just wanted to avoid that time as my friends usually go skiing and I can't ski to save my life, so no point going with them. And the reason for asking the question here is that my friends in Canada only check their email every few weeks!!!!
Thanks again

Anne in Australia
I see
Anne, I have lived in Canada all my life, and I understand you not wanting to ski!! Putting Sticks on my feet and flining down a hill side, does not sound like and interesting vacation to me either.

If you are coming in the winter make sure to dress warm, and you will have a great time.

Spring break varies from province to province but usually falls in the month of March. In British Columbia it is the week of March 17th. If you can come to Vancouver. It is a beautiful place with lots to do.

P.S. We were in Australia in August and loved it. You have a gorgeous country and the people are wonderful.

Lynn, thank you for the compliment about my country. I feel exactly the same about yours, I just love it!
Melissa, I tried to ski once a couple of years ago - I spent more time on my backside than on the actual skis. I know when I'm beaten!! I'm actually trying to avoid a scorching hot summer over here so the cold/snow will be wonderful.

Anne in Australia
