My family stayed at the Siesta Motor Inn on Pandosy in Kelowna back in 1990... while it wasn't directly on the lake, the beach and parks were just next door. There are also shops and restaurants along Pandosy... and if you head further south down that road, it turns into a beautiful scenic lakeshore drive with various wineries and lesser-visited beaches along the way. That's one idea.

Jan<BR>The Siesta is a great choice, well located and nicely upgraded. <BR>check out www.siestamotorinn.com<BR>Also just down from the Siesta and right across the street from Gyro Beach are the Pandosy Inn, the Mission Park Inn and the Sandalwood inn. All Motel style but great location.<BR>You might also want to take a look at the Lakeshore Inn which is directly on the lake between Rotary Beach and the wonderful new Manteo Resort. It is an older motel that was recently made over very well. It has a great lakeside pool.<BR>www.lakeshoreinn.com<BR>These are some in the budget to moderate price range for lakeside.<BR>Book early as it is so busy here in the summertime.
