I’ve only been to the distillery district once when it was pretty new as a tourist destination Very interesting converted industrial buildings, upscale shopping and eateries. It may have evolved since then. Queen Street West is trendy shops and eateries, I’m not familiar with the Annex these days. A walking tour of any of these areas would definitely interest me, but just not my kind of destinations. . But your interests might differ.

No, I am not interested in upscale shopping, but the areas with upscale shopping eateries are usually worth visiting.
So.. I think we'll have fun just walking around and not buying anything.

My one and only visit to the Byward Market in Ottawa was a huge disappointment. I found it very ordinary compared to many that I have been to. I notice that there is no mention of a visit to the new Aquarium in Toronto. I am told it is superb by those who have been there.
