How about a Toronto get together!

Hi All:
Just back from the cottage and saw the email from hdm. I'm in!! Any weekday in Sept. or Oct. would be just fine, with the exception of Thanksgiving when I haul my family up to the lake so they can help me wrassle the bird.
This is so exciting!

Hi everyone.
How about either dinner on Sat Sept 8 or brunch on Sun Sept 9 or dinner during the week before and after this weekend?
The only ones who are unable to make this time frame are Toedtoes ( We'll ahve a mini dinner in Aug for her) and Meesthare..(sorry Meesthare..we can always have a mini dinner for you too!).
Once we get into Oct, there could be problems. Thanksgiving.. then I go away on Oct 20.
SO let's have a show of hands for around Sept 8 or 9 time frame.
The Hot HOuse sounds great..

Have a great time, you guys - I like the Hothouse Cafe (used to go there from time to time when I lived in Toronto)and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
During your festivities, I will be in New York to greet my newest grandbaby, due on Sept. 8th. So we'll all have something to celebrate!

Meesthare, congratulations on the new grandchild.
How time flies.
Your other grandchild had just been born when you helped me so much on my trip to NY and telling me about the Westchester airport. How time Flies. That child must be about 4 now ( or older?)

I'll be attending my brother's 60th birthday celebrations in St. Catharines that weekend and hosting out of town guests so won't be available but during the week before or after would be fine for me.
Toedtoes and I are setting up a date to meet during the last week of August while she is in town. If anyone else wants in on this contact me at [email protected]

Yes, Kodi, you're right! Nathaniel will turn 4 in November and he's going to have a baby sister in September. He's quite excited about it - and so are we!
My daughter and son-in-law took him on a little holiday a few weeks ago. When somebody asked Nathaniel where he was from, he answered "Daddy and Mommy's belly."

It does get complicated, doesn't it? Maybe if we plan far enough ahead, we'll be ok.
SO how about Sunday Oct 14 for brunch?
Anselm, I'm assuming since you are coming so far, that only a weekend is good for you.
And others may be coming from out of town..

Oops, sorry, no can do. That's Rosh Hashona. But it sounds like that's a good night for most people and I know it's almost impossible to suit everyone, so why don't you go ahead on the 12th and I'll hear the details on-line.
