Lots of places to see, such as Stanley Park, Grouse Mtn, Gastown, Granville Island. As well, don't miss Whistler/Blackcomb Mountain - just 2-hrs drive away. Some websites: www.vancouvertoday.com, www.whistlerblackcomb.com or www.whistler.com.
Feel free to email me if you would like more info.

A slice of authentic Vancouver is found here http://www.lacasagelato.com/
It easy to reach from Downtown and is gauranteed to be a favourite.
The City is small and everything is close by.

Some romantic restaurants to consider:
La Gravoche- It is in a converted house with a wonderful wine cellar and terrific service. The staff are very nice and happy to provide suggestions.
Expensive, but worth it.
Less expensive is my favourite- the Cafe de Paris. Again, the cellar is excellent, the food is scrumptious ( try the Salmon or the Duck Confeit), and the service is the best. I always feel like I'm in Paris.
Have a wonderful time
Mandy

I would suggest visiting the following places in Vancouver: English Bay, Stanley Park, Queen Elizabeth Park, Granville Island, Grouse Mountain, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, China Town, Gastown and if you have time I would suggest driving up to Whistler.

some of the best restuarants in Vancouver are Lumiere, Season's in the Park, Diva at the Met, C's, and Le Crocodile.
