Group of girls headed to Ottawa in October debating staying at Embassy Suites or Aristocrat... have read some bad reviews on tripadvisor.com about Aristocrat & couldn't find anything on the Embassy Suites... need to book soon. Thanks much!

I live in Ottawa and although I never heard of those two hotels, I looked up where they are. When my parents stayed in town (and needed air conditioning!), they stayed at Cartier Place and really liked it. They offer suites (like an apartment) at hotel room prices, so when people come to Ottawa and ask for a room, I tell them to check that out first. It's in the same area as those two hotels you referred to.

Both of these hotels offer suites, which is exactly what we're looking for, as there are 4 of us in a room for 4 nights, and the kitchen will really help out.

Well, if you're looking for hotel suites, the only other one I can think of off the top of my head is Albert at Bay Suite Hotel. I imagine you checked that out already too? They are located, oddly enough, at the corner of Albert and Bay.

Other downtown all-suite hotels you might want to look at include the Minto Suites, Les Suites, and Bostonian Executive Suites.
