Good Restaurants in Niagara Falls?
Three adults will be visiting NF for three nights at the end of April. We're hoping for some good food---not necessarily fancy, but good. Any suggestions? Also, I never hear about the shopping in NF. Aren't there outlet stores there?

You'll find more opportunities for better food in Niagara on the Lake, rather than in Niagara Falls.

For a casual lunch, the Epicurean on the main street is the best cafeteria I've ever eaten in.

For dinner, try the Oban Inn in Niagara on the Lake. It's part of a chain owned by a woman who has good chefs in several other kitchens, too.

Can't help with the shopping, ecxcept to dsay ithas never been a serious shopping destination. There's an outelt mall in NF -New York State, though.

Lots of good little stores in Niagara on the Lake.

BAK
Hi: I am from the area and the places we go to our, Four Brothers (Italian) Casa D'oro (italian),The Jade Garden (Chinese) these are all in the Ferry St-Lundy's Lane area. If you want really elegant dining then head to Niagara on the Lake. The Prince of wales Hotel is one of many fine dining spots. The Minolta Tower and the Skyline Tower offer great views. There is an outlet mall at Lundy's Lane and the QEW, it is about 2 years old. Karen

Eilen-can second the vote for Mamma Mia's and would also add Captain Murphy's to the list. Shouldn't need reservations at either place. As for shopping, you may need to cross over to Niagara Falls, USA to hit the outlet stores. If you have the time, a drive up to NOTL would be well worth your time, not only for great shopping, but also great places to eat. Both the Olde Angel Inn and The Buttery are causual places serving outstanding food. Have fun!
