Try www.obmg.com, which is Oak Bay Marine Group. It runs a bunch of fishing resorts that look expensive, but memorable. Things like floating hotels.

BAK

Forget OBMG, overpriced and run like an assembly line-I speak from personal experience.
In Vancouver the best you could do is to go Sturgeon Fishing on the mighty Fraser River.
They run to 14 feet, I'm not kidding every year one or two that big are caught.
My biggest is 9.5 it was hard to tell the exact weight it was 275 to 340 pounds.
The Fishery is 100% C&R so it attracts a more genteel clientele, not better looking mind you, but a very conservation minded bunch of shaggy-looking locals (!)
It's just still-fishing with bait from an anchored boat, and once that fish takes the bait and rockets out of the muddy water RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU it's Hell-on-wheels!
They can run like a Tuna and jump like a Sailfish, although perhaps not quite as energetically.
The boat sometimes has to cast off the anchor and chase bigger fish downstream as the tear off for parts unknown-the most fun you can have with your clothes on!!
The best Guide I know of is Vic Carrao http://www.guidebc.com a great guy with a nice boat and a positive attitude, so important in fishing as I'm sure you know.
He's based out of Mission BC a small town about 1 hour upstream from Vancouver, you might be able to take the commuter train up there in the AM and return in the PM-going 'against the flow' each way.
http://www.westcoastexpress.com/index.shtml
Whistlter area all kinds of small lakes for Trout fishing not my thing but it's beautiful country.
http://www.valleyfishing.com/
Vancouver Island-where exactly it's a huge palce!
Here are a few URL's to peruse
http://www.ucluelet.halibut.net/ not a terribly flashy site but if they still have Kenny Meyers working for them he's one of the best Guides on the Island and a Heckuva nice Guy to fish with as well.
http://www.ucluelet.com/questcharters/reellife.html another Ukee outfit.
http://www.murphysportfishing.com/ can be a good deal of you get the right Guide, ask for Greg Macinroy or Rolley Haider.
http://weighwest.com/ a large operation in Tofino, some very mixed reports of late, some Guides fresh out of who-knows-where-poor communications skills, doubtful conservation practices.
Offers somewhat less for the money that other operators.
Whatever you do don't bother with Campbell River formerly the Salmon Capitol of the World, now a stop on the way to nowhere.
Still lots of charters on offer in CR but all that's provided is stories of the Good Old Days and you should been here last...
Changing climactic conditions in the Straight of Georgia have left CR behind the place to be for Salmon Fishing is the outside of the Island (WCVI).
If you end up in that quaintest of Tourist Traps-Victoria you might look up http://www.fishingvictoria.com/ for some info the fishing there is actually better in winter but it can be productive.
Please feel free to contact me by email if you need more opinionated advice (!)

Check out www.fishingdiary.net and give Gary Cooper a call. He has his own fishing show on a couple of different channels. Lots of experience and you will be assured a good time. Tell him Tanya from Nova Scotia sent you!

Our company is very aware of the person who enjoys slamming the fishing diary & myself via message boards and using false names. Little does he or a few of his friends know that we can and have tracked them down with the help of the webbsite managers of these various messageboards. We know who they are and where they live and have over the past six months been logging and building a book on them.

I don't fish my self but my father was looking for a all inclusive fishing arrangement around Whistler. I checked out all sorts of websites but found the information on www.whistler-blackcomb.com very usefull. Dad ended up booking his accommodation through them too and was very happy with the time he spend in Canada.
Good Luck!

The drunken idiot known as Gary Cooper couldn't 'track down' his own socks without help.
As mentioned the man is a fraud and a besotted bloated and disgusting wretch who's sole purpose in life is to make a spectacle of himself.
He also can't spell, which means that the post purporting to be from him is a fake.
I know I'm on his mailing list he knows me personally and is aware of my lack of regard for his debauched and depraved existence.
It's a bit like a train wreck watching Gary deteriorate, horrible but fascinating, you can't help but take a peek even if it turns your stomach.
