Yes, it's Pacific Coach Lines and it's a great way to get between the 2 cities when you have no rental car. The bus will take you to their depot in Vancouver, which is right behind the Science Centre, you can hop on the LRT and go right to downtown.

You pay one fee, get off the bus for the ferry trip and get back on the same one before the ferry docks. (An annoucement will tell you when to return.) Therefore it's a good idea to write your bus number down.

Your luggage is locked on the bus during the ferry trip.

It seemed last year, during the time that ferries were running hourly, the bigger "Spirit" ferries with better food were leaving on the odd hours.

Check at the bus depot before you go but last time I took the bus, I just showed up about 20 minutes before departure. No reservation necessary. It's actually less hassle than taking a car because you're pretty much assured of getting on the next ferry, and the buses are quite comfortable.

There is a magazine/gift shop on the ferry, by the way.

While I'm at it, if you have any desire to go to Butchart's Gardens from Victoria, you can take the city bus for much less than a tour. I believe the fee for the gardens in summer is $18.00 (!).
