The place to be is the town of Drumheller (aka: the dinosaur capital of the world), in the center of the Alberta badlands. The museum you want to visit is called the Royal Tyrell Museum of Palaeontology. You can stay in Calgary and drive out to the Drumheller - it's only a few hours away by car.

Here's the Drumheller town website, properly named, http://www.dinosaurvalley.com/

Here's the museum's website: http://www.tyrrellmuseum.com/

Drumheller has an excellent web page. Not sure of the address but if you search just for that name, you will find a great deal of information. Also, www.discoveralberta.com has quite a bit. There are lots of places to stay in Drumheller, rather than driving back and forth to Calgary. It is well worth the visit. Have fun.
