Damage from Hurricane Juan?

I saw on the news that Hurricane Juan was to hit sometime soon. Hope everyone is okay and there was no damage. Please let us know you're okay up there.

I posted b/f but for some reason it is not here.
Thx for your note, ncgrrl. Juan slammed into Halifax late last night. The damage is extensive. A lot of fallen trees, power outages and, sadly, at least 2 people lost their lives.

Does anyone know whether Hurricane Juan hit Cape Breton and/or Sydney?

The hurricane never really hit Cape Breton all we got was some high wind & rain & some heavy seas. Nothing really worth talking about
