Clifton Hill and Casinos and Wine
Going to be in the area for business in May. Which is your favorite Casino in the area? We enjoy Vegas. We are young. We want fun. Do any of them have actual views of the falls? Does the Falls View Casino have a view? Do the casinos provide free beverages while gambling?
Also, we are fascinated by the cheesy/haunted attratcions in Clifton Hill. Any web pages for them? Any comments?
How close are we to the wine region if we wanted to tour? Worth it?
Thanks.

The Fallsview Casino is the showcase Vegas Style casino... check their website for headliners in their showroom... all the rooms have Fallsviews and seem reasonably priced, especially now before the Summer season... there are drinks available at several lounge and restaurant areas but I don't believe they are permitted by law to comp drinks...
If you are drawn to Clifton Hill, make sure you use discount coupons or entertainment book coupons for buy one get one admissions... Cheesy is the key word but if you like side show type museums... Clifton Hill is for you...its like the Carnival never left town...
Finally... you are 20 minutes from the wine region that is becoming a world class attraction... most famous for it sweet nectar Icewine, the niagara area is expanding its collection for great whites and reds alike... there are over 50 wineries of all sizes and if you enjoy the winery experience, it is well worth the tour...
Also... If you really want fun, check to see if Whirlpool Jetboats is open for the season when you come... there is nothing quite like it...

The wine region mentioned above is in Niagara On The Lake and a very pleasent drive from Niagara Falls. I hope you will take time from the casino to enjoy some of the tourist stuff.
Although, I'm not sure what will be open in May. If time allows, take a short drive to the American side and go to Goat Island. From here you can see the Falls up close and personal and really feel their power.
