Cleveland to Niagara
I'm flying into Cleveland and I don't have a clue about what bridges to use or the best route to take (scenic). Can someone give me some simple directions? Thank you.

There really isn't a scenic route. From Hopkins Airport, just take I-480E to I-271N to I-90E. [Or if you want to visit or see downtown Cleveland, I-71 N to I-90E.]
I-90 (becomes NYThruway) all the way to Buffalo. Then take I-290 around the NE side of Buffalo, then I-190 towards Niagara Falls, NY. Immediately after crossing the second Niagara River bridge, take the Robert Moses St. Parkway to the falls, and follow the signs to Canada (and/or Rainbow Bridge) if you're crossing over to the Canadian side.

Another possibility, though one which isn't a direct route, is to drive up to Detroit and enter Canada there. Then drive along the top of Lake Erie. The Canadian interstate there is fast and shoots directly to NF.

Thanks for your help. I'm going in late September. Do you know if that is still tourist season and how cold (snow) does it get? I'm from Arizona so anything below 80 degrees sends a chill in me. I just want to dress for the season. Thanks again.

If you don't want to bother driving around Buffalo and having to look for all the signs (90 to 290, to 190, etc.), just take the 90 and exit at the 190 (watch for the huge sign that directs you to 190 - downtown Buffalo). About 1/4 mile past downtown is the exit for the Peace Bridge. When you exit customs, just drive straight up the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) and follow the sign for Niagara Falls.
Another option after crossing the Peace Bridge is to take the very first exit (right side, just past the customs building) and then turn right and drive about one block down to the river. Turn left at the river and follow that road all the way to the Falls.
Late September weather can be anyone's guess, but snow? I know our reputation preceeds us, but snow isn't an issue in September. It can be 80 degrees, it can be 55 and raining. Check www.weather.com before you pack. Even if the weather is warm, the evenings will be cool, especially near the water.
There may still be a lot of tourists, but it won't be nearly as crowded as it is during the summer.
Have a great time.
