best spa in Toronto?

My Mom and I planning our annual "girls spa day" in June. We went to the Elmwood last year and want to try someplace else. We were thinking The Stillwater. Any suggestions?

My favourite is St. Annes (Haldimand Hills) in Grafton, east of Toronto. They also have a train package from Toronto and if you have a party of 6 or more they will throw in a limo.

To keep the thread alive, but not based on personal experience .... I've read vry positive comments on the spa inside the Park Hyatt at Bloor and Avenue Road.

BAK - the spa in the Park Hyatt is the Stillwater.

Stillwater is a great option, if a little pricey (If you're having a facial, ask for Maggie, she was amazing!!). There is a spa in the Windsor Arms, haven't been there yet, but have heard good things. There's a spa in Holt Renfrew (Estee Lauder) Wouldn't really recommend it except for manicures - the services were fine, but the sales pitch is a little over the top.

Hope that's at least a little helpful!

Thanks for the response.
Truffles - have you been to or heard anything about The Pantages Spa located in The Pantages Hotel? I think it is between The Stillwater and Pantages.

Just to confuse you a bit more, Civello has a beautiful Aveda spa in Rosedale on Yonge Street. Great service and if you want to get your hair done, it has way better hair services than any other salon in the city.

Sorry for the delayed response - no, I haven't heard anything about the Pantages, I think it's pretty new...come to think of it, it's close to home, maybe I should try it out!

The Old Mill Inn and Spa...the best spa that I have been to. I haven't been to St.Annes' which I hear is also tremendous...but definetly better than the Elmwood and although there are few things greater in this life than a floating massage at Civellos....the whole atmosphere for a "spa day" is not as complete at Civello's not like the Old Mill where you can also grab a bite to eat and wander the beautiful old building!!!

I've toured the Pantages spa but haven't experienced it. Beautiful, though!! Stillwater is always a safe choice too - so either way you're in good shape.
