Apartment/Hortels in Vancouver

Will be in Vancouver on a business and pleasure trip for 2 1/2 weeks in July. Can anyone recommend a cheap aparment/hotel or condo to rent? Prefer downtown but will consider other areas if still fairly central. Thanks!

Dear Stevie, You may want to consider Buchan Hotel in Haro Street (next street parallel to Robson). It's pretty cheap, quiet and has laundry facilities. You can visit their website at www.buchanhotel.com Susana

Thanks! They don't have full suites though. Looking for more of an apartment style. Any other suggestions?

Try the Times Square Suites http://timessquaresuites.com/htdocs/home.html on the corner of Robson and Denman suites. They had reasonable rates when I visited last July.

Thanks everyone. I have been doing some research and most places want a minimum one month stay. I'm wondering about subleting Does anyone know if rooms to sublet for short term stays in Vancouver are posted on the net?
