Any Vancouver Restaurant Recommendations?
Does anyone have any recommendations for restaurants in Vancouver that are not too expensive, good food, good service? I need to find a place to take a spry 80 yr. old woman for her Birthday. Any help you could give me would be appreciated. I leave this Friday March 9th. Thanks!

Deb, there are tons of great restaurants, but it all varies on what kind of food and atmosphere you're interested in.

One of my personal favourites is the Cafe the Paris, located on Denman Street downtown. Another is Cardero's located at the foot of Cardero Street, overlooking Coal Harbour, the mountains and Stanley Park. The Fish House at Stanley Park is another favourite of mine.

I'm sure other people will have some great ideas too.

Brandy - Unfortunately I don't know of any websites. Try checking http://www.mybc.com in their "food/dining" section. They should have recommendations there.

Deb - I'm glad I could help!
