advice on our chosen accomodation

we have booked the Katherine Hepburn Suite at Rossellen Suites on Stanley. Has anyone stayed here - we got a good deal (between 4 of us), what is the area like down that end and whats the suites like if you have stayed?
Also, booked Westin Harbour Hotel in Toronto - same questions again please?
Can we expect decent weather in Septemeber, we are British so sunshine is important - we hardly get any!!!! Thanks in advance

Toronto should be lovely, sunny and pleasant in September. The Westin Harbour Castle is down on the lake. It is a very nice hotel especially if you have a lake view. I have not seen the rooms in several years but i presume they keep them spruced up. try taking the ferry across to Toronto Island. This hotel is a bit of a walk to the downtown but they probably have a shuttle. Hope you enjoy Toronto.
Re the first part of your post. I think you are talking about Vancouver. Great city am not sure about that particular hotel. There are lovey B&B's in the Kitsilano area such as Johnson's or Penny Farthings.

The Rosellen suites are very nice! I don't know about Hepburn suite, but the set up is very nice. Suites are large with full kitchen, dining table, couches, just like a nice apartment. Location just steps from Stanley Park and about 3 blocks from Denman Street which is all shops and restaurants, 5 blocks from Robson Street, again shops and restaurants. It's a nice location, walking distance to downtown Vancouver and you'll enjoy it!

In Toronto -

I agree with Cathy, take the ferry to Toronto Island if you can. There is a subway/trolley entrance just across the street from the Westin Harbour.

Have fun.

I don't know about the Rosellen in particular but I much prefer to stay at that end of Vancouver. Being near the park but not too far from the centre of town is the best of both worlds, I think. If you don't mind walking, any direction you choose should be good.

September is often pleasant but unpredictable so don't be surprised if it rains. No matter what the weather, I hope you have wonderful time.
