Hi all - My husband & I will be visiting Toronto for 3 days in Sept. We will have our car, but I am assuming that Toronto traffic is intense? We'd love to stay downtown and walk/use the subway, but the hotels are out of our budget. We've found hotels in Scarborough & North York in our budget, but is there easy access to the city? Any recommendations of areas we should consider, access to subway or other transportation, and info as to about how long to plan to get into the city & back would be so helpful.
