407 West Entrance from Pearson?
Can somebody help me find the first 407 ETR West entrance(to Niagara) from Pearson? Last week from Pearson we took 427 South to 401 West to 407 ETR West. Should we have taken 427 South to 401 West to 403 Niagara & then to 407ETR West from the 403? Can you do that? What's the fastest way to get from Pearson to 407ETR West?
I looked @ the 407ETR website map but it was not helpful.

Although it appears to be the long way around, the fastest way and shortest way is to go NORTH on 427 to the 407.
What you did last week, would be the second choice.
Don't even think about your third choice of going down the 403. Yes you can do it, but it's a long way til you get to the 407.
Rush hour can be busy going north on 427 , but not nearly as crazy as going along the 401 to the 407.

Happy New Year, Kodi!
How long does it take to get from Pearson to 407ETR West via 427 North on Friday afternoon around 4:30-5:00PM? ( Going the other way it took about 10-12 minutes on a Thursday afternoon around 2:30PM)

Hi Wow, oh sheesh, big difference between 2:30 Thurs and 4:30 Friday.
I'm on the road all day, every day, but to tell the truth I've never thought of getting to the 407 the way you did. The only thing I can say is that both ways could be jammed,, but the 427 is a shorter distance to be in jammed traffic. It's a tough call, but I'd listen to 680 AM for the traffic on the 'ones' ... one minute after the hour.. 11 minutes after etc. I'd listen to it before leaving the airport.
Tough time to be leaving, but you aready know that!!! ONce you are on the 407, you'll be fine.

Kodi, thanks again. Not looking fwd to that arrival @ Pearson on Friday afternoon. My flight arrives @ 3:45PM. I figure that by the time I get my luggage & clear Customs it will be about about 5:00 when I head out from Pearson. I think the worst part will be getting to the 407. It will probably take me longer to get to the 407West than it will to get from there to Niagara! LOL
Speaking of West...how are the Westies? Kodi & ???

Wow, I really think it will not take more than 15 minutes to actually get up to the 407 if you go north on 427. You'll see the traffic and go "OH NO" , or something stronger... but I really think 15 minutes will do it. It's normally only a 5 minute run.
Kodi and Murphy are great! They were groomed last weekend, and look wonderful. I love it when they've just been groomed... so soft and clean.. I think they love it too!
Good luck on Friday.

HI wow, I also meant to say Happy New Year to you too.
I hope the coming year is a good one.
Oh, ok.. in March.
I checked with my work partner today, who drives with me. HE also said for sure he'd go north on the 427.
Good luck.. hopefully, it won't be too bad, and as I said, you won't be on it for long.

That Friday afternoon rush hour thing was really bugging me so today I changed my flight to Saturday. Arrive Pearson @ 3:45PM. Hope it won't be too bad. I am still going to take the 407 & I will take 427N as kodi has suggested to get to the 407West entrance to Niagara.
