Yellow Water Billabong Cruise
We'll be in Kakadu for couple of days in late September, and would like to do the Yellow Water Billabong Cruise & the Jumping Crocodile Cruise. Can I book these cruises once I'm in Darwin, or do you recommend I book them well in advance? Also, are either of these cruises suitable for disabled passengers? Thanks Fodorites!

You can book the Yellow Water cruise through this site

the cruise itself is excellent with a naturalist on board who pointed out loads of things we would never have seen.
There are several different operators of jumping croc tours, so google them to choose.
I doubt that you would have to book them much in advance, unless you want a particular time of day
cheers

Wheelchairs might be very difficult, but other mobility impairments should be O.K. The difficulty is climbing up onto the boat and then down into your seat.
We took a Yellow Water Billabong Cruise last month through an AAT Kings 2-day trip to Kakadu and they could probably address this question too.
