Travel Agent Recommendation

My fiance and I will be honeymooning in Australia in November and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good travel agent. It seems that it's very hard to find a good travel agent these days, so if anyone has used someone they were really pleased with, particularly if they used them to plan their trip to Australia, I would love to know about that person. My fiance and I are located in Los Angeles if that affects anyone's recommendation.

Thank you.

we used Harvey World Travel to go from Australia OS, I think its a matter of going to Travel Agents in your hometown and checking out the brochures and talking to the Agents to see if they have been to Australia.
Good Luck.

Another recommendeation is Flight Centre www.flightcentre.com.au . I noted on their home page they have a USA office. This is a well known and highly reputable company. May I also suggest for your accommodation needs, once your itinerary has been mapped out, go to www.wotif.com - a great Australia wide site for picking up excellent bargains for accommodation, etc. Once again...highly respected in this country.
Try to visit Tasmania whilst you are in Australia. This is where I live (in The Huon Valley). It is a beautiful state and a great getaway for young lovers!! Have fun.

Hi Lilly --

suggest that you go to www.australia.com and run your mouse over "Plan Your Trip" -- you'll find a drop down menu with "Find a Travel Agent". Next put in your zip code, or your state and you'll find Premier Aussie Specialists, certified by Tourism Australia.

And thanks for the vote of confidence, Prue!

Regards,
