Alan, You are a dear. No wonder you have this wonderful rep on the forum.

Will do as you say. Rest assured by next week, I shd be set for this apart of my Oz tour.

I am also going to the Gold Coast and PD. Want my little girl to expereince some farm life as she loves animals. So, have got the brochures from the OZ embassy here and also visiting the websites for B&B/farmstays such. Thinking of Daintree Ecolodge or Silky Oaks or radisson Treetops for PD area. But need places for the journey there.
As usual, these ideas have come from visiting this forum.
Thanks.

Tongsa, you are going to think that I am hogging this thread and not letting anyone else get a word in... but you did say "farm animals", and that made a bell ring back in my mind. Check www.ausdex.com.au/blum/, and go right down the list to "L": Little Hartley. The Little Hartley farm is about half-hour's drive west of Katoomba, going towards Jenolan Caves. If your plans for farmstays up the coast don't work out, you could always combine the Blue Mountains night and the farmstay at Little Hartley.
Thank you, by the way, for the kind words. Two minutes after I sent that last rebuke to "What", I had pangs of regret that I had spoken too rashly, and I was a bit reluctant to open this thread again, fearing a stream of abuse from people whom my tone had offended. Instead, I got called a "dear"! Nonetheless, I think I should apologise to "What"... I am usually not so easily riled, and her comment didn't really deserve my harsh tone. The perils of the net... once a word is spoken, it can't be recalled!
