Update: I had half an hour between doc apps and went into a Starbucks and got a flat white. It wasn't awful at all. The store itself smelled like burnt coffee beans, but the flat white was inoffensive. I'll revise the order of preference between Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks. In fact I had an awful DD coffee in Florida.

Newtown along King St, along Enmore rd down past the Metro petrol station with the Brewery next to it and on to the other Brewery in Unwins Bridge road that is right next to the Axe throwing place.
Can stop at about 100 cafes bars pubs on that route all of various quality - and of course 2 breweries run by hipsters.

Hi Stephen0711,

have a look at www.booking.com

You would be better off starting your own thread, and give information that will help people give you relevant information.

include: Exact dates if you know -otherwise which month
number of people in your party, including children.
your preferred accommodation style -traditional hotel, self catering apartment
Your location preference -do you want to be in the CBD, Southbank, or suburbs, St Kilda, for sample?
Budget range per night in AUD.

The range of accommodation is simply too great to give any useful recommendations without any info Marion about your requirements.

Indians in Australia can fly home easier.Good news for those flying to India. Air India has announced an additional flight on the popular Delhi-Sydney route, taking it to five flights a week.

Hey, flygirl, if you are asking for a young hipster-ish type of ambiance - I know just the right place for you! The Old Clare in Chippendale (Sydney) is called "Funky Urban Place to Escape" for a reason. You should check out the atmosphere - they were rewarded for their interior design actually (I think you would be delighted as I was). What’s more, the bar works even on Sunday and it’s placed right next to Sydney's famous shopping mall - The Central Park. If you need more information, I’d be more than happy to send you some links and pictures.

Happy Travels!
