Sunshine Coast

Does anyone have recommendations where to stay in the Sunshine Coast (hotel, resort, etc.)? Any recommendations where to go? I am going in November for four days. Thanks
Hi

Noosa and surrounding areas are beautiful - no trashy hi-rises like the gold coast, lots of national parks where you can see koalas in the trees etc etc. I havent any accomodation recomendations i am afraid, as I stayed with friends! If you can get up to Fraser Island, even for a day trip, I can heartily recommend that.

Having lived on the Sunshine Coast for 10 years I would recommend staying at Mooloolaba Beach area. There are many nice hotels and resorts there. Noose has never been a favourite of mine as there is very little to do there and the beach gets eroded every couple of months. M'aba is central to most things whereas Noosa is at the very top end of the S-Coast. Check the Web for holiday accommodation or see if the Sunshine Coast itself has a website - I am sure that they do. Check out beach front areas as well such as Alexandra Headland because I know there is a terrific place there right opposite the beach
Enjoy!!

My wife and I loved Noosa Heads.

We stayed at the Ocean Breeze Hotel and it was great and in a great location.

Follow the Noosa thread on this message board by searching for posts on Noosa.

There are lots of internet sites for this area.

Where you go, in my humble opinion, depends on what you like and what you like to do.We thought the whole area from Maroochydore to Noosa Heads was beautiful.

My post is only based on a recent 4 day visit from Canada.

This is the place that I would stay on the Sunshine Coast - http://www.landmarkresorts.au.com/re...australia.html
My next choice would be Twin Waters - here's the site

http://www.oztravel.com.au/travel_ma...WaMudjimb.html
I am sure that you would enjoy either of these places and they are very central to many things. You can always do a day trip elsewhere.
