Southland driving distances and times

anyone can provide me an estimate of driving distances and times for the following? I can't find them on any driving distance websites.

Te Anau - Lumsden
Te Anau - Invercargill (via Manapouri and Tuatapere)
Lumsden - Gore
Lumsden - Invercargill
Invercargill - Gore
Invercargill - Balcutha (via Catlins coastal road)
Gore - Balclutha
Balclutha - Dunedin

Here's a few distances for you compliments of:

Te Anau to Invercargill - 168 km, 2:30 hours

Balcutha to Dunedin - 85 Km, 9 of which is on unsealed road - 1:30 hurs

Invercargill to Balcutha via Southern Scenic Route - 172 km, 24 of which is unsealed - 4 hours

To add on... ok.... it doesn't make much difference in terms of time and distance using the inner roads /scenic road to move from Te Anau to Invercargill (from http://www.southland.org.nz/sections...imesdistances/).

Would you recommend I take the scenic route or goes by Lumsden/Winton? What's there to see along the way?

Personally, I'd take the scenic road, as it's probably labeled scenic for a reason. I've never taken this route (not that I remember anyway), but maybe someone who has will chime in.

I took the scenic route from Te Anau to Invercargill. It was VERY disappointing. Not particularly scenic, if you ask me. But, I don't think it cost us much time from the other route either.
