Round-the-World tickets

Does anyone have any experience with RTW airline tickets? Different lines offer different plans; which to choose?

My husband and I used RTW tickets two years ago. They can save you a lot of money. We flew from Korea-Hong Kong-Bangkok-New Delhi-Cairo-Frankfurt-Copenhagen-Frankfurt-Toronto.
It cost a little under $3000 Can.PP.
You choose by first mapping out where you want to go and then you travel agent will figure out which carrier does that route. We flew Thai Air, Royal Jordanian, SAS, all connected with Lufthansa,I think.
Have fun!

just purchased rtw's for myself & husband from texas to seoul, singapore, phuket, bombay(mumbai)zurick, london ,
texas. business class 4000 total tax included per person.
Delta airlines/singapore airlines

delta was a joy to work with - we got a rebate by booking through Best Fares - not much 330.00, but wouldn't have gotten that from Delta. all we did was , when ready to book, called Best Fares, gave them the confirmation #, and they took it from there. sent our tickets and the rebate together. best fares has a web site.

cheers

Terri: Its great to get a response from someone, I didn't know how long it would take to hear from someone (I'm sort of new to this internet thing.) how did you go about getting visas for each country that you visited?
Did "Best Fares" find everything for you or did you have to do some searching? I have alot of questions and was wondering if you could help me (e-mail if you can help)
