Thanks for reading the blog and for your comments. Blogging was a great way to share our New Zealand experience with friends and family during our time abroad. It is also really great to have a journal of my thoughts about living overseas now that I am back in the states.

The tax rate is the same for everyone - it is three tier
1 - Up to $38,000 a year is a rate of 19.5%
2 - Up to $60,000 a year is a rate of 33.%
3. Above is 39%
