I've never heard of them - but the trip sounds good. That's a fantastic part of the world - and sailing is just the best way to see it!

This trip sounds fantastic - and you'll be fine on your own. (I'm getting envious!)

If you have time, some of the best places to see the Reef are out of Cairns and/or Port Douglas. The tall ship people make a point of it being a sailing adventure. I've done a similar trip (years ago now) and the sailing was great fun. But the snorkelling was only average. A combination of both would be wonderful, if you could manage it. Otherwise, you need to decide what's the most important.

Others may have other suggestions.

A few years ago We went for 3 days on a boat called Siska - 3 time winner of the Sydney/Hobart I think as well as being a famous vessel for other reasons. We had a wonderful time, the crew were great. Snorke3lled in the Whitsundays and landed in several different places. The kids did scuba diving off the boat too.
I just checked - she's still around!
