Do you mean you have to choose between the three?
I'm not sure what you mean by Mt Cook Trip??? It's fairly easy to make a detour to Mt Cook on the way to/from Queenstown on the inland route.
Same with Fox and Franz - you go right through both as you drive down the West Coast from Greymouth to Wanaka/Queenstown.
I assume you're trying to choose between the inland route and the route along the West Coast?
If so, personally, I'd take the West Coast route - it's gorgeous. I find the inland route a bit boring, although Lake Tekapo and Mt Cook are definitely highlights along that route.

Sorry for the confusion. I actually have one extra day on my trip..
I can either use that extra day and do the Blue Mountain day trip while in Australia..or
Use that day in NZ to do the Mt Cook trip.
As far as the Glaciers..i wanted to know whihc one is better to visit/climb, since i won't have time to do both.

Fox Glacier and Franz Josef are very similar - I wouldn't stress about which to choose...if you plan well, you can see both in the same day...we've walked to the terminal face of both in the same day. You'll probably only have time to CLIMB one, but don't worry about it, you'll have a similar experience regardess of which you choose.
