One or Two Day Tours from Auckland to Coromandel and Rotorua

Are there Coaches Tours that include a visit to Coromandel Peninsula and together a visit to Rotorua ?

Hi Monica
I posted a reply to your other message recommending that you stayed round Auckland. I now see that you have a different proposal. Give me an idea of how much time you have and I will check it out for you tomorrow.
Would you be prepared to drive yourself or would you rather be driven.

What you are proposing of coming out of Auckland, down to Thames, across the Coromandel and down the East Coast to the Bay of Plenty, then across to Rotorua and back to Auckland is a neat route and one inwhich the only road you go over twice is the motorway out of the city. We recommend it to a lot of our visitors and if you have time you can add Taupo to it and extend further to the Central Plateau. In 4 to 6 days you can see a big piece if the North Island and some great and varied scenery - beats the Bay of Islands any day!
Kerry

Hi Kerry,
Thank your message.
We have only 5 days to spend in the North Island.
Is possible find a driven Tour for this itinerary :
Day 1 : Auckland/Russel/Paihia
Day 2 : Cape Reinga - Paihia
Day 3 : Paihia / Coromandel
Day 4 : Coromandel (Hot Water Beach) / Rotorua
Day 5 : Rotorua
Is in your opinion a realizable tour?
Are the Tours operative in the Christmas Time ( December 25-26) ?
Thanks !!

Hi Monica
I have been in touch with a couple of tour companies today and now that I have a few more details and dates (is your arrival 25 Dec?) I will see what I can firm up for you tomorrow.
The difficult part is the Coromandel leg. Going North Bay of Islands etc and the Rotorua sections should work although a bit rushed. We do have cruise ship visitors who do Rotorua in a day. In fact it may pay us tolook at the possiblity of flying you down to Rotorua having a full day, an overnight stay with local entertainment ( Maori concert party, etc), and then fly back to Auckland.
If you have to drop out a section what would you prefger to drop?
Feel free to contact me by e-mail
Kerry
