New Zealand in March/April for 7 days
We are planning to visit New Zealand for 7 days. We know that this time is not enough for see all but would be able equally give an itinery to see the better of the country ?
We like beaches, the sea and the green.
Is still good the weather in this period ?
Thanks!!

i don't know about how cold it will be then, but it never gets that bad on the north island. at the north end, is the coromandel peninsula, which doesn't get a whole lot of international visitors, yet has great beaches on the east coast, rugged beaches on the west coeast, and dramatic gorges and mountains covered in trees. you'll probably want to drive yourself (mountain roads), and just take things at a leisure pace. like the natives do.

7 days in New Zealand is a very quick
trip. By car, well you wont see much
of the whole two islands. Though it
is a small country car travel can take
a while. You should pick out the
spots you really want to see,
www.purenz.com will give you a lot of
help. I wouldnt drive for the whole
7 days. If you fly by Air New Zealand
you can get a free internal flight. I
would start with south island from
christchurch, then fly to Auckland. In
northland the weather is vry warm even
in winter so swimming could be a possibility esp in Kaitaia, Bay of Islands, In coromandel Hahei or
Blackwater beach is perfect. Gisborne
has beautiful sandy beaches. Mahia
Peninsual another good place to swim
The mornings can be cool and brisk but
the days can be very hot and sunny.
You have probably done your bookings
already but give me an email if you
want further help.
