HIDEBS-

I had not come across Wave Rock in my books or on-line. Interesting place. Someone from Sidney told me last week that I would only need 4 days in WA, from what I'm seeing I would need more than a month to see all I would like to. Thanks for sharing info.

beazor, you are right. You would need that amount of time, which is why many aussies pull up stumps and drive around for 6 months to two years taking in the splendour a bit at a time. There are so many untouched uncrowded places to see in Australia. As to the comments from your sydney friend I say hogwash!! sometimes sydyneyites get a bit insular. as beautiful as sydney is there is soooooo much more to Australia. W.A. is vast and beautiful.(I am from Brisbane QLD so I'm not trying to do a tourism promo). The beauty of sites like these is that you get to find about things that are just a little off the beaten track but well worth it. Have fun with your planning.

Well we made reservations last night. We leave 9/24 for Perth, spend 11 nights there. Then on to Hobart for 8 days and back to Sydney and the Blue Mountains for 4 days. We know it's not enought time anyone place but hope to get an idea of what's there.

Now we have to start narrowing down what we want to see in each area. think that will be even harder.

Thank you to all who have helped us with this trip. Can't tell you how much we appreciate the advice and great links. I think our trip will be the greater for all your imput and insight.

We would still love to hear more if there are any paticular sites or places to stay in each area that we really should not miss.

Thanks again and bless you all.
