Tried to post earlier but don't see my message...Anyway Yes! Namale is a perfect honeymoon location. We went in Oct 1997 for our 10th anniversary & having been to Turtle Island 2 yrs prior, I'd recommend Namale for privacy over almost everyplace we have been except possible Petit ST. Vincent in the Gremadines. We had the honeymmon bure "Nanise". It was the most beautiful accomodation! Private bridge to private deck overlooking the water. Thr bures have CD players so bring you favorite music & enjoy! There were only 8 bures when we were there & at those prices there were no children. Dining is private tables except for an occasional group lunch. It is a friendly atmosphere but they do not require "group" participation. Opt for a private beach lunch or champagne celebration on your deck. You can't go wrong!

To: Phil
You can check out Namale Resort at http://bulafiji.com/namale.htm. The rates range from $750 to $850/night all inclusive for two. There are other great places at less cost such as http://www.MatangiIsland.com and http://www.Marlinbay.com.

Phil,
If you can wait, contact me in June. We are going to Rarotonga, Cook Islands where we have a villa at Pacific Beach Resort on Muri Beach for about 1/3 of what we paid at Namale. Good NZD exchange rate right now....But of course that is not with the food, accomodations or service of Namale that makes it such a wonderful "honeymoon" destination. But there are alot of factors & priorities to consider for each individual couple. Check everything out, there are so many great places to go. Good Luck!
