My husband and I are leaving in five days for a 28 day stay on the South Island of NZ. Can't wait! If there's any interest out there in Fodorland, I'll try to post tidbits as we travel. If not, I'll just post a detailed travel report when we get back...

Actually, I live in Kuwait, but I'm an American, so your point is well taken.

By the way, where in NZ do you live? I gather from your posts that it's on the North Island somewhere - I'm just curious.
