thanks pjtravels. yes, maybe we will skip tonariro then. its difficlt to figure out which hikes can be done with toddlers. hopefully DOC will be helpful in this area.we can add the days to nelson, chrischurch or QT for some short treks/fruit picking. thanks very much.
