Fraser Island Tours
Hi,
I am planning on booking a 3 day Fraser Island tour with one of the following companies - does anybody have any feedback on them?:
Kingfisher Bay Wilderness Adventure (http://www.kingfisherbay.com/eco/pgsix.html)
Fraser Venture (http://www.fraserventure.com/twodaytour/fv2day.htm)
Sand Island Safris (http://www.seefraserisland.com/opp/tour/sisafari/
)
Sonrover (http://www.seefraserisland.com/opp/t...ver/index.html)
Also, how do people rate the Eurong accomodation?
Thanks,
David.

Couple of corrections - the last company is Sunrover (not Sonrover) who do the same tour as the Wilderness Discovery Tour (http://www.seenoosa.com.au/opp/noosa...day/index.html)

Hi David,
Kingfisher is very good, and I'd also like to recommend doing a self-drive. I've just had two clients come back from Fraser, and I made reservations with a very good company called Fraser Magic 4WD Hire. You can email Sandy at info@fraser-m,agic-4wdhire.com.au and tell her I sent you.
They met my clients at the airport, gave them instructions, tips, a short lesson about driving in sand, maps.
This is another option for you if you'd like to be a bit more independent.
The thing about Fraser is that their tour permits are highly regulated and very expensive, which is why you only see large tour options. In addition, the permits only allow the holder to go to "X" number of places per month and stop for "X" amount of time.
