G'day Nancy, The airport isn't horribly far from Darling Harbour, so the best thing would be to grab a taxi. To get around Sydney, buy a 3 or 7 day travel pass that will let you go on ferries, trains and buses and sightsee with the least amount of fuss. it is great fun. Peg.

Nancy, if the major factor is cost, my tip would be to get a bus to the city and then get a monorail to Darling Harbour.... the alternative is a bus to the city and then a taxi. Either way, the trip isn't very long.....have a FANTASTIC stay.
