Clearing Kaikoura to Picton road
Excavators and construction crews have begun clearing the slips along here, with expectations of having the road entirely cleared by the end of the year:

I don't know if you can see this without being on Facebook but it's a post-quake photo of Jimmy Armers Beach.
Kaikoura Minibackpackers is/was an amazing little random homestay that I happened upon many years ago when Mr. Eldon decided to put his sign out.
