Breathing in Southeast Asia --Anyone tried it lately?

We're planning on going to Thailand/Vietnam/Cambodia/Indonesia starting in late March through late April. I know it should rain between now and then, but how bad is the air there now?

Hi, I'm writing from Malaysia - a 'neighbour' to Thailand and Indonesia. Hei, the weather now is great. Clear blue skies daily and one can get a good tan easily. The hazy days are gone for sure.

I was in malaysia during the worst of the haze (pollution) and it was bad. AT most times there is some haze and as far as I know the fires are not yet out but the pollution has been reduced considerably. I wouldn't let it stop you travelling. Kucing in Sarawak was the worst followed by Peninsula Malaysia. I don't know about Vietnam. See if you can find a Malaysian paper on the net. They publish pollution reports every day. I wouldn't let it stop me from travelling unless it was very bad. Mostly it just spoils the views.

Hi! I live in Kuala Lumpur which is a short 50 min. flight to Langkawi. The weather's just great with plenty of sunshine. Hope you have a great vacation! Selamat Datang!
