Bederra v. Lizard

We're traveling to Australia for our 2 week honeymoon and plan on staying in Sydney for a few days to do some adventurous activities like rally car driving, skydiving, the bridge climb, etc. We then want to go to one of the GBR islands and can't decide between Bederra or Lizard. I saw the previous post from last year, but was wondering if anyone had anything new or any suggestions. We're both active and are certified divers. We were set on Lizard, but there just seemed to be more activities on Bederra via Dunk Island. We want to be secluded, and also a bit pampered. Should we choose Bederra or Lizard. Thanks in advance for your advice!!

Thanks for the advice!! We think we'll end up going to Lizard! I saw the weight restrictions for baggage...Yikes! Did you have any problems with that at all when you were travelling? It's our first trip to Australia and we plan on staying in Sydney first and without a doubt we'll buy souveniers. Any suggestions on what to do?
