Australia in june

Hi, I'm a mexican guy who's planning to visit Oz for one month by June.
I would like some information about wich places could be visited in this time.
I'm gonna arrive at Sydney, and was planning to go Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra. And by this time what could be better, going north to Ayers Rock and maybe a cruise from Cairns to Townsville; or going south to Tasmania and taking a plane to Perth.

Any info you can give me would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

june is a great time to travell in the north of Australia. It is cold in canberra, Melbourne, Tasmania and Adelaide that time of year. Go to the Great Barrier reef and the northern territory. The weather will be much kinder

I agree, going north is better weather - Darwin in winter is still about 90cF and you can get a taste of the outback! It is pretty expensive to fly to Darwin or to Perth or Cairns or Tasmainia from anywhere on the East Coast. A trip around Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne & Adelaide can be done by car - but you'd need at least 3 weeks to drive around these. Enjoy your trip
Raphael,June is the start of our winter and although we don't have snow, some of the days can be very cold and windy in the southern states,As much as I love my hometown of Melbourne I would suggest To make the most of your holiday you should head up to Far North Queensland, Port Douglas, Cairns, there is so much to see with the rainforests and the reefs. Or look to Uluru (Ayers Rock) and north to Darwin and Kakadu. Then come back another time about Feb/April for the wonderful Southern states Peg.
