Do a search for Sydney and you will find all kinds of suggestions. This is asked frequently.

-Take a ferry to Watson's Bay and eat at Doyle's.
-Ride the train/bus and visit Bondi Beach.
-Take in a concert/opera/play at the Opera House (best seats cost US $25!)
-Visit the shops at the Queen Victoria Building and marvel at the architecture.
-Eat lunch at one of the many small restaurants and order a kebab.
-Stop in for a brew at a pub in The Rocks and talk to the locals._
-Do lots of walking downtown and try to shed some of the weight you will gain on that cruise!

The Opera House has their own web site and you can check out what will be on and book from that
If you want to do a search and it doesn't come up on your usual engine then log onto Web Wombat and do a search within that - its an Australian site.

Thanks for all the help. Now you all can help me pick a restaurant before seeing the show. What's your favorite near the Opera House and why?

Bridge Climb!!!! It's fantastic. Reserve your spot before you go as it gets booked up early. Bridgeclimb.com.
