I just wanted to add a comment about the Hotel Elegance 4. They do require a deposit equivelent to 1 night to confirm the reservation. This can be done via wire or bank transfer, but that's really expensive. However, they now take credit card information, either via email or phone. They also have Skype, so last night I called skype-to-skype for free and gave them the cc info to charge my card.
One thing to note, like many places in SEA, they charge 3% extra for credit card payments. So, not only will I pay them 3% but I'm sure there will be another 3% tacked onto my Master Card bill. I will try to pay for the rest in cash once we are there. However, that 6% is still way less than my bank's fee for a wire transfer.
