I have sent all the women and children in our village up to our secret cave. Let me know if this is enough protection or not!

Oh shucks! I was planning to go to Thailand - now that trip has to be postponed!

When is "The Panda" leaving Thailand?

Be afraid, very afraid...

Hide those speedos or they will mysteriously disappear...

Craig,

"Be afraid, very afraid..."

If you use your Elmer Fudd's voice it's hysterical, lol

Just got the official Starwood alert in my email that reads:

"no children will be allowed at or in the pool area of the Bangkok Royal Orchid Sheraton until further notice"

Aloha!

We leave tomorrow. Everyone in BKK is really excited. They have missed their Panda. Who can blame them?

Gathering all the women and children in one cave will make it much easier for me. Then I won't have to wander all over town. Plus the darkness of a cave will help the speedo effect.

The ROS is undoubtedly just completing their yearly panda refurbishment. My lounge chair at the pool is reserved.

You can imagine the joy in my upcoming arrival and the fact that the Bob will miss BKK this year. There is joy in Mudville.

No Bob in Bangkok? And Panda's on the loose? (no joes about Speedos here...)

Actually without Bob, and with Beth's quiet elegance to deflect attention from Gpanda, I think all will be fine at the ROS...for the first hour at least.

Have a great trip Andy!

Andy,

Have a great trip. Hope to hear from you "live" from Asia. Who's going to assess (access) the late report penalties in your absence?

Thanks to all who have sent good wishes. We are again looking forward to the trip. A pox on the house of the naysayers.

Craig, in my absence, I am appointing you as the dispenser of penalties. Please use past assessments as a guide to your calculations. I will be online some of the time, but not regularly and the need for prompt accessment requires this appointment. The Fodors Asia "community" is counting on you.

If Pandas wore shoes they'd be awfully big ones to fill...

Andy & Beth, have a great time. Try to stay out of trouble.

How many speedos are you bringing anyway? (and don't forget the pictures--we need fodder for next year's GTG).

Two speedos and two "normal" bathing suits. We have to get their expectations up before we unveil the current version of Panda a la Speedo.

Regarding pictures, there's a very good chance Beth will not elect to take yet another Speedo picture.

I'll try to check in from Thailand.

IGNORE BOB!
