Washington Hotel via AsiaRoomss

Hi

Have tried to reserve two rooms at the Washington Hotel in Shinjuku via their internet site but keep getting averted because of incorrect ?? zip code. No answer when I try to contact their webmaster. Did not want to call without "800" number.

Therefore, can book same room at AsiaRooms maybe even for a better rate, but they do charge for cancellation.

Can you give me some feedback on 1) Washington Hotel in Shinjuku 2) AsiaRooms.

Thank you.

I'd reserve directly with the hotel. Their rates in English seem to match the rates in Japanese when I did a quck check. That's a good thing.

If you search carefully you can do much better pricewise than either AsiaRooms or hotelguru is offering, and you don't have to prepay.

If you can actually navigate in Japanese, you'll find more rate plans than in English, as well as the actual number of rooms available at a rate per night when it goes below 5 (it seems that that's when the number of rooms kicks in rather than the open circle).

For hotels in Japan, I've yet to find a booking site other than the hotel's own website that offers a rate cheaper than a direct booking. For other countries, I've seen it happen, but not for Japan....in my experience.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Out of frustration, have looked elsewhere, and decided for the price and value might stay at Century Hyatt. Can get a second room at discount when I spoke with the hotel directly.
