Visa for Mumbai

Hi - am going to Mumbai for a few days on business but would like to take a sidetrip to Goa for a few days. Any idea what kind of Visa I need to get? I went on the https://indiavisa.travisaoutsourcing.com/get-a-visa website but not sure if there's one I can get for both business and tourist or if i get business i will be prevented from going to Goa?
Sorry I know this may be an obvious question but I want to avoid any issues when i get over there - first time.
thanks
JEnny

Goa has been part of India since 1961. You don't need a separate visa. People traveling on business are allowed to be tourists as well.

And, for fun, go here for some Goa hotel suggestions:

and while we're at it, go here too:

If you are a US Citizen, just make sure you have your Indian visa before travelling. India does not grant visas upon arriving at the airport.

Both a business and tourist visa will allow you to travel around India.

Reply if you have more questions.

P.S. your visa will be for India, not for a particular city.

this has been so helpful thank you. i have one other question - our time in goa has been restricted to either one or two nights. can i get your opinions on whether the trip to goa for a weekend would be worth it? it seems like it would be, and a short flight to goa (4o min or so) from BOM. we will have a decent amount of time in Mumbai so i would like to go to goa if possible for the beach, food, ambiance and just to finally see what i have seen and heard so much about (mostly on tv!). we're going end of jan... what do you think? or is there so much to do in the city that you think our time could be spent there? i live in ny and it's 0 degrees celsius here so if the beach will be nice then well... thanks again for all the help.
