VISA for India

I am from the US and just got my Visa for travel to India in March 06. But I am confused. The application process asked for 2 photos but neither of them is attached to the Visa they sent to me which has been attached to my passport. Should one of the pictures that I sent be included with the Visa? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

No, they keep the photos, they are not attached to the visa. Don't worry about it. The visa is in order.

Thanks for the info. RHK they requested 2 photos so I just assumed that they would somehow attach one of them to the VISA. Just out of curiosity. What do they do with the photo's?

The photos go in your visa file. Many countries ask for one or two passport photos. They are never attached to your visa when your passport is returned.

This will be the first of many pointless form filling sessions you will have on your way to india. They have many people to find jobs for!

I recall, New Delhi is the only airport where someone checked my ticket stub.... on arrival.

I'm sure I also had to fill a form in, with personal details, to go around the Delhi train museum.
